RISD Summer Studies: Graphic Design

Classroom exercise: Using lines, circles and squares to convey weight, scale, direction, and texture.

Project One: Scavenger Hunt
Part one: First we created collages using found forms and images. Next we assigned a word to each of our collages. We then experimented with different representations of each word. Lastly we incorporated the words into our final compositions.

These pieces are from RISD pre-college graphic design class. The first two are from a deconstructed newspaper page. The last three are brainstorming pieces for an egg beater logo project.
