RISD Summer Studies: Graphic Design

Classroom exercise: Using lines, circles and squares to convey weight, scale, direction, and texture.

Project One: Scavenger Hunt
Part one: First we created collages using found forms and images. Next we assigned a word to each of our collages. We then experimented with different representations of each word. Lastly we incorporated the words into our final compositions.

Amanda and Peter's wedding cake 2009
The cake was four layers, two of which were chocolate, one was hazelnut, and one was vanilla. I used a vanilla buttercream frosting and decorated with roses and white carnations.
